At this prestigious fire protection and safety conference, the TREEADS project was represented through insightful presentations on forest fire research, specifically focusing on the activities and outcomes of the German Pilot Project.
The two papers that were presented were titled:
- “Waldbrandforschung im EU-Projekt TREEADS – Arbeiten und Ergebnisse des Deutschen Pilotprojekts” (Forest fire research in the EU project TREEADS – Activities and results of the German Pilot Project)
- “Analyse der Brand- und Rauchausbreitung regionaler Waldbrände – Erste Ergebnisse aus den German-Pilot Brandversuchen im TREEADS-Projekt”
(Analysis of fire and smoke spread of regional forest fires – First results from the German-Pilot fire tests in the TREEADS project)
The session provided an in-depth analysis of fire and smoke spread in regional forest fires. Drawing from the first results of the German-Pilot fire tests within the TREEADS project, the presentation discussed critical insights into understanding and mitigating wildfire risks.
We are always excited to share our findings and collaborate with industry experts to further the understanding and implementation of effective wildfire prevention and management solutions.
