General Partner description
ASFOR is a professional, non-governmental association consisting of economic agents active in the field of forestry, wood processing and forest owners, which represents, promotes and supports the economical, legal and social interests of its members, both nationwide as well as on international level. ASFOR has a long experience in working in multi-disciplinary groups with national and European organizations (FAO, EOS, CEETTAR).
Role in TREEADS project
ASFOR will bring their exeprtise in legislative package desing and implementation with regards to forestry and will aslo play an important role regarding preventive measures and procedures to be implemented with regards to forest fires by the forest owners.
