TREEADS partners, including FAFCYLE, DdA, USAL, and Capgemini, collaborated on a partial prescribed burns exercise in Navaquesera, Ávila, Castilla y León, Spain. This multifaceted activity served a dual purpose: offering support to the local forest fire brigades and showcasing cutting-edge technology in the field. The prescribed burn exercise aimed to collect crucial data with UAV technology for upcoming Spanish pilot exercises. Simultaneously, it provided invaluable support to the EPRIF during a real prescribed burn.
The collaborative effort yielded highly successful results, fostering a spirit of continued partnership among the involved parties. A positive experience which paves the way for future collaborations in similar exercises.
