General Partner description
Research groups TIDOP and SINUMCC, from the University of Salamanca, joins their efforts around the pillars of geospatial industry, renewable energies and numerical simulations. The groups are composed of multidisciplinary teams, including geoinformatics, engineers and mathematicians. Both groups have expertise in technology and knowledge transfer, shown through research projects in collaboration with leading companies in the industrial sector and a high number of intellectual property protections.
Role in TREEADS project
USAL will develop a spatial data infrastructure able to download, integrate and process data coming from different sources: from spatial satellites to aerial drones and even robotized ground systems. USAL will succeed a Detection and Response module through the expertise in development of mathematical models and its numerical solution through efficient numerical methods, and development of GIS integrable codes.
