General Partner description
RISE Fire Research AS is a non-profit research institution. Together with our Swedish division, RISE Safety and Transport, we constitute one of the world’s largest research organizations on fire. We have experience from many years of research and development projects regarding fire safety in areas with challenging environment: e.g., on offshore installations, ships, road tunnels and building fires; where fire development, fire detection and extinguishment have been explored.
Role in TREEADS project
RISE Fire Research is the project manager and will be responsible for coordinating the TREEADS Action according to the governance structure and procedures. We are one of the major contributors in the Pilot Campaign. Our responsibility will be planning the Pilots and developing evaluation technologies. We are also leading the workshops and clustering events while contributing to other research activities.
