General Partner description
Founded in 1853 BFG is the second oldest and one of six professional fire brigades in Austria. BFG took part in several national and international projects with focus on disaster prevention, disaster forecasting, disaster management and disaster relief as well in large scale simulations and trainings. Due to numerous co-operations with several institutions like Brandschutzforum Austria, ÖBFV and CTIF, BFG became a centre of competence for fire and disaster control.
Role in TREEADS project
BFG will be the expert link between public authority- science and first responders on national and international level (end user) and will also take part in the developing and implementation phase with focus on usability for the first responders. Moreover BFG will be an advisor and testing partner for realistic validation of the project system.
