General Partner description
The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), founded in 1974, is the first higher education institution of its kind within our nation’s technical and vocational education system. Our overall goal is to inspire the development of the entire university, neighboring academic and research institutions, and local industry in the upgrading of our national ability to compete on a global stage.
Role in TREEADS project
The main role of NTUST in the TREEADS project focuses on recycling and reuse of the post wildfire wood ashes to produce the fire-resistant concrete. The investigation for the cementless materials includes the development of alkali activated binders, mortar as well as concrete. The site demonstration will be conducted and the data will be collected to validate the laboratory test results.
