General Partner description
NCSRD, the largest multi-disciplinary research centre in Greece, participates in TREEADS through a collaboration between the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunication (via ISL research group) and Institute of Nuclear, Radiological S&T, Energy and Safety (via AirTec Lab) bringing on board extensive multi-disciplinary expertise and know-how in Crisis Management IT applications and ML algorithms with Environmental & Air Quality Research and Modelling.
Role in TREEADS project
Research and technology provider for (i) community engagement and ML powered apps to support restoration assessment, (ii) simulation for crowd and livestock behaviour and evacuation; (iii) air pollution modelling, sampling and chemical analysis for air toxics; Air Quality and health impacts estimation, aerial AQ and forest mapping using a specially configured light manned aircraft.
