On November 22 TREEADS was presented to students at the Department of Materials Science, University of Patras, Greece.
Mr Loukas Athanasekos, PhD from Eight Bells Ltd., made a presentation on the goals and objectives of the project. The students and teaching staff of the MSci Department had the chance to get informed on the TREEADS ongoing actions and planned activities.
Special interest was drawn to the novel technologies that will be deployed throughout the project. The overall event provided food for thought to future researchers regarding the necessity for a holistic fire handling approach at a Pan-European level, along with innovative techniques for effective: prevention & preparedness, detection & response, and restoration & adaptation.
We would like to thank the MSci Department for their kind invitation. It was a fruitful and amazing time for TREEADS.
