We are delighted to announce the active participation of Kemal Sarp Arsava, the project coordinator of TREEADS, in an insightful pilot exercise conducted by the SILVANUS project. The exercise took place in Limoges and St Sylvestre, France, on the 29th and 30th of September. Organized by POMPIERS DE L’URGENCE INTERNATIONALE (PUI), a partner in both TREEADS and SILVANUS, this event showcased the cutting-edge technologies developed by SILVANUS for wildfire management.

SILVANUS is an Intelligent Automation (IA) project that shares close similarities with TREEADS. With a consortium of 49 partners, SILVANUS focuses on various aspects of wildfire management, including preparation, detection, response, and restoration. For more information on SILVANUS, please visit their webpage: SILVANUS Project.

During the pilot exercise, Kemal Arsava actively participated and observed the demonstrations of various technological tools developed as part of the SILVANUS project. These included ground robots, drones, citizen engagement tools, and an advanced AR/VR Toolkit. Kemal’s valuable observations will be shared with the TREEADS consortium, providing essential insights and recommendations for the upcoming TREEADS pilot exercises.

Kemal Arsava takes this opportunity to extend his heartfelt congratulations to PUI for organizing such a successful pilot exercise. He also expresses his gratitude for the invitation to participate and engage in this collaborative event. The synergy achieved through the partnership between TREEADS and SILVANUS is vital to the collective efforts to combat wildfires and develop innovative solutions.

Stay tuned for more updates on TREEADS as we continue to make progress in our mission to revolutionize wildfire management through advanced technologies and collaborative initiatives.
