The TREEADS project participated in the “ISCRAM 2022 – 19th International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response & Management” held in Tarbes, France from May 22nd to May 25th, 2022. The conference attracted more than 300 participants from all over the world and was organized by National School of Engineers of Tarbes and ISCRAM Organisation.
The main subject of the seminar was “The future vision of large-scale crisis management in a post-COVID world”. The TREEADS project’s scope was considered highly related to the thematic of the conference. The project was presented at ISCRAM 2022, under the workshop title: “Big Data Analytics and AI for Disaster Risk Reduction workshop”.
ISCRAM 2022 was a unique opportunity for TREEADS to be presented among similar projects forming part of the Wildfire Risk Management (WFRM) Cluster. For instance, SILVANUS, SAFERS, and FireLogue projects were also presented. The main orientation of all these projects is to present the adopted methodologies against wildfire disasters and crises.
ISCRAM is an opportunity for worldwide stakeholders to exchange ideas on research and development, as well as knowledge building and deployment of information systems for crisis management, aiming to promote and facilitate cooperation among all stakeholders involved in this domain, including researchers, practitioners and professionals, technical and other experts and policymakers.
The project was represented by Acceligence Ltd., Dissemination & Communications partner who gave a presentation on the innovative technologies to be developed, enhanced and utilized for achieving the project’s objectives.
