The technical manager Ragni Fjellgaard Mikalsen from RISE Fire Research AS presented the TREEADS project at Fire Across Boundaries Conference. The hybrid conference was held in Florence, Italy, on 4-7 October 2022 and hosted by the Association for Fire Ecology (AFE), Pau costa Foundation (PCF), Regione Toscana and the University of Florence.
The presentation’s title was “Future wildfire risk scenarios addressing the expected impacts by the Green Deal related to building resilience into European landscapes”. The Roundtable discussion enabled each participant to contribute their perspectives and ideas in a fruitful dialogue.
This conference was a meeting point for more than 150 attendees, who were international wildfire and landscape managers, scientists, policy makers, communicators, and other representatives from national, regional and local organizations.
